The creative pipeline
your DTC brand
is missing.

— Synopsis

Strategy, creative direction, and a content engine that compounds. On-site, remote-directed, or hybrid. Built around how your channels actually perform — paid, organic, or both.

The Pattern

You don't have a marketing problem.
You have a creative pipeline problem.

The team is fine. The product is fine. The market is there. What's broken is the system that turns strategy into creative that performs — the one that used to deliver, and no longer does.

/01

The Execution Trap

You have the ideas. Producing them is the wall.

You've got more ideas than capacity to produce them. What's missing is the execution layer — scripts, shoots, edits, distribution — running on a cadence that compounds. So plans sit in a doc while your competitors keep posting.

/02

The Polish Gap

You're shipping content. It doesn't look the way your brand should.

Freelancers, in-house attempts, founder-shot iPhone clips — it gets out the door, but it doesn't earn the trust your product asks for. There's no creative direction, no system, no compounding. You're winging it.

/03

The Performance Decline

What used to work isn't working anymore.

The same ads on the same channels don't move the needle. Organic that printed money has flattened. You don't need more of the same creative — you need new angles, new offers, and a system that adapts when the old one stops delivering.

The Deliverable
Phase III is where most engagements quietly compound — same system, refined on what actually converted.

Three months in.
This is what exists
that did not exist before.

Not a process diagram. Deliverables. What's on your drive, in your ad account, and on your feed 90 days from the kick-off call.

Phase IThe System

The System.

  • Brand, audience, and competitive immersion complete.
  • Content system designed around how your audience actually engages — paid, organic, or both.
  • Script and shot list locked for your first content day.
  • Go / no-go call to confirm the plan before any camera turns on.
Phase IIThe Content

The Content.

  • One content day shot — on-site, remote-directed, or hybrid.
  • 20–30 pieces of content delivered platform-ready.
  • Short-form video, ad creative, organic social, brand assets.
  • All final assets delivered platform-ready, owned by you forever.
Phase IIIThe Compound

The Compound.

  • Performance data reviewed against your paid + organic channels.
  • Winners identified and packaged for distribution at scale.
  • Next quarter's content system updated on what actually converted.
  • You stop being the bottleneck.

The Deal

Three ways
to start.

Content needs time to compound — but not every brand starts in the same place. Three engagement shapes, dialed on the call.

30-Day

Funnel Engine

For brands where the funnel or offer needs to work before content scales.

  • Flat fee. No commitment beyond 30 days.
  • Funnel asset, ad creatives, tracking data — yours either way.
  • Debrief on what's working, what isn't, what to do next.
Custom

Project-Based

For brands with a specific deliverable in mind — launch film, campaign shoot, product photography day.

  • Custom scope, custom timeline.
  • Fixed quote on the call, before commitment.
  • Single deliverable — no ongoing commitment.
Is It Right For You?

We're selective about
who we work with.

Great work comes from real partnerships. Storyforma isn't the cheapest option, and we're not trying to be. We work with brands that understand the difference between making content and building a creative system that compounds.

You're a good fit if
  • You've outgrown freelancers and need a system that compounds.
  • You value both brand quality and performance.
  • You want a strategic partner, not another content vendor.
×We're not the right fit if
  • You're looking for the cheapest option.
  • You just need basic filming, no strategy.
  • You want to micromanage every creative decision.

FAQs

Five things
we get asked most.

/ 01
Do I need to be in LA?
No. Storyforma runs three production modes: on-site (we shoot with our team in LA or fly to your location), remote-directed (we direct your in-house team or a crew we hire in your city), or hybrid. We handle creative direction, scripts, and edits from LA regardless of where the camera is.
+
/ 02
Do you only work with DTC, or also B2B?
Both. The system applies to any brand where creative is the bottleneck and the offer is high-ticket enough to justify the engagement — DTC product, premium local services, B2B with a visual product. Total Body Experts (B2B + B2C fitness equipment, $12,400 closed in three weeks) is one of our active case studies. Same system, different category. The disqualifier isn't B2B vs DTC — it's whether your creative pipeline is what's actually slowing you down.
+
/ 03
What's the difference between Funnel Engine and Content Engine?
Funnel Engine builds the funnel and the creatives that run on top of it — for brands whose ads aren't converting yet, whose offer needs sharpening, or who want a working acquisition channel before scaling content. Content Engine produces a quarter of platform-ready content from one content day — for brands whose funnel is working but whose creative supply is the bottleneck. Most clients eventually use both.
+
/ 04
How do you handle scripts and creative direction?
Both are handled by Storyforma. Pre-production includes brand immersion, audience research, and competitive review — then scripts and shot lists are written, reviewed with you, and locked before any camera turns on. You approve the plan in writing before production begins.
+
/ 05
What happens after the strategy call?
If it's a fit, you get a written scope and a start date. If it's not, you get an honest "not a fit" and a referral when we have one. The call itself is useful either way.
